On the branch of a weeping willow
Nests a nightingale
He's alone without his lover
He cries to no avail

Listen to his sobs of sadness
They echo across the fields
There's a stillness in the meadow
Sensing what he feels

Ah, goodbye to his beautiful world
He lays down on his pillow
From the limbs it's raining tears
Oh, lonely bird in the weeping willow

     Greetings to one and all!
First of all, thank you for your time.  My friends call me "Tears".  I'm a lifelong artist locked down in Ad. Seg. with more time on my hands then I know what to do with.  But please don't be put off, believe it or not, I'm just another victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I'm up for any conversations with anyone, I don't discriminate-everyones welcome to write!  Theres gotta be lonely people out there that need encouragement and comfort just like me.  I'm a great listener with a uniques perspective of life.  I'm sincere, curious, open minded, passionate, playful and....quirky.  I'm looking to meet people to share life, love, and laughter with.
I have many interests in life and enjoy occupying myself with arts and crafts, making things out of paper and string.  I also like to study the many mysteries of life, nature, and spirituality.  I do a little bit of writing (mainly poetry and novelettes) and a lot of reading.  I love to read Sci-Fi and Fantacy!  I enjoy playing stimulating games of chess (also xianggi, shogi and RPG's).  I listen to all kinds of music from rock to jazz.  And I like having conversations about anything and making new friends.
I understand it can be daunting not knowing what to really write and talk about in those first letters, so I have a few conversation starters, take your pick and tell me your thoughts and veiws.  I will respond to everyone, so please write today!

"Innocence (Long Past)"

In the still, mirror-reflective water
I see the face of a child I once knew
Beautiful is this child
Face aglow with the joy of lifes innocence
Curious of creation, loving all that exists
Beautiful is this child
My heart fills with sorrow and pain
As I stare into his soft, innocent blue eyes
As he gazes back in wonder at the hard, calloused eyes
To the man he has become
