My name is Joesph P. Brown, 38yrs old. I’ve been on Mississippi death row for 15 years.
The justice system says you are innocent, UNTIL being proven guilty by your peers. A lot can be said about my peers and this Justice System.
My first step is to know you and allow you to understand who I am. How I happened on death row. To help me regain my freedom, liberty, sanity, life and some measure of justice. I am not opposed to anyone answering my ad. I am secure in my innocence. ALL ARE WELCOME!!! Race, sex, age and/or religion.
I have had 5 attorneys and though this last one has effectively kept me alive 8/9 years he’s not readily available or accessible. I find it very difficult communicating with him. I have no family with money. I must accept any attorney the State or Federal courts hand to me or I must go at it alone. This is really difficult with the System in place in this Correctional Institution. The facts of my case say I am innocent yet the Judicial System condemns me to die. I hope to find someone who will stand up for me whereas I can not stand up for myself. I am innocent!
Through time and death. I have very little Family and though we remain close life is a struggle for them. I have to go it alone. Being confined the past 15 years, I realized no one should go through life alone, including myself. I’ve decided to share my life if I should be so lucky.
